There are two services that you’ll need for a functioning site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. When you type the domain name in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it is parked. To put it differently, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it could be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted domain inside your account. You may also park domains if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main web site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You'll be able to park as many domains as you would like with each of the hosting packages we provide. However, this feature is provided only for domain addresses registered here since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike many companies, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain address and the process will take just a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We also have a number of parking templates to choose from where you can include custom text. If you decide to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account takes simply a click. Everything necessary for your website to start showing up, such as creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records will be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domain addresses you have registered using our company and you’ll be able to set a filter to see just the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we provide you are going to have the freedom to park as many domains that are registered with us as you want. Given that only the registrar company can provide a parking function, you cannot park domain addresses which are only hosted on our advanced cloud hosting platform. Using the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with as little as a few mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for better control. We offer a number of different templates you can use and if you'd like, you can also add some custom text to any of them. If you decide to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you won't need to do anything manually - our system is going to create a domain folder in the File Manager section and will create all of the required DNS records so that your domain works properly and starts loading the content you upload for it on our servers.
